Virginia Beach Fire Department Honor Guard Association to Host Annual Christmas Tree & Wreath Sale

Starting Friday, Nov. 27

The Virginia Beach Fire Department Honor Guard Association will kick off its annual live Christmas tree and wreath sale on Friday, Nov. 28, at 10 a.m. The sale will take place at 1593 Lynnhaven Parkway, located next to the Green Run Fire Station #18.

The tree lot will operate Monday through Friday from noon to 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., until all trees and wreaths are sold. Wreaths are priced at $30, and Fraser Fir Christmas trees start at $90.

All proceeds directly support the Honor Guard Association and its mission to provide ceremonial honors and funeral support for fallen firefighters, including both sworn and retired members.

For more information on how you can support the Virginia Beach Fire Department Honor Guard, contact FF Captain Richard Wall at RWall@vbgov.com.

The Honor Guard provides departmental honors to the families of fallen firefighters, including retired members. They offer support throughout the planning and organization of funeral and memorial services, and they perform ceremonial duties at these events. The Honor Guard also participates in the funeral procession and serves as an escort for the casket, ensuring a dignified tribute to the member’s service.
