Utility Work to Impact Providence Road and Kempsville Road Oct. 17-19

To safely facilitate utility work, the following lanes will be closed near the intersection of Kempsville Road and Providence Road Friday, Oct. 17, to Sunday, Oct. 19: 

• One through lane of eastbound Providence Road, westbound Providence Road and southbound Kempsville Road. 
• Left turn lanes of eastbound Providence Road onto northbound Kempsville Road. 
• Left turn lane of northbound Kempsville Road onto westbound Providence Road. 

Flagging operations will be in place to maintain traffic. Access to commercial and residential properties will be maintained at all times. Traffic signs will be placed to advise motorists of the lane closures and detour routes.
