Improvements for Northampton Boulevard and Shore Drive Ramps Begin Nov. 9

Roadway milling, paving and pavement marking improvements may disrupt evening and overnight travel beginning Nov. 9 at the Northampton Boulevard and Shore Drive on- and off-ramps.  

All work on this project will be done from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting: 

• Northbound Northampton Boulevard off-ramp to eastbound Shore Drive 
• Southbound Northampton Boulevard off-ramp to westbound Shore Drive 
• Westbound Shore Drive on-ramp to northbound Northampton Boulevard 
• Eastbound Shore Drive on-ramp to southbound Northampton Boulevard  

Milling and paving operations are likely to produce traffic delays, congestion and some construction noise. Advanced warning signs will be clearly posted advising motorists of ramp closures. Drivers are urged to use alternate routes when possible. The project is expected to be completed by Nov. 13.
