Commonwealth v. Marlowe Prince Simon; Jury Convicts Man of Child Sexual Abuse; Recommends Two Life Terms plus 20 Years Â
Virginia Beach, Va. – Colin D. Stolle, Commonwealth’s Attorney for the city of Virginia Beach, announced that Marlowe Prince Simon, age 42, was found guilty of Forcible Sodomy – Victim Under Age 13 (two counts), Aggravated Sexual Battery – Victim Under Age 13, and Indecent Liberties after a three-day jury trial. The jury recommended a sentence of two (2) life terms plus twenty (20) years in prison. Circuit Court Judge Kevin M. Duffan, who presided over the trial, will formally sentence Simon on November 24, 2025.Â
The Commonwealth’s evidence proved that between January 1 and May 7, 2023, Marlowe Prince Simon sexually abused a child known to him on multiple occasions. The child disclosed the abuse to a family member, who took the child to the emergency department at the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters (CHKD). CHKD notified the Virginia Beach Police Department and Child Protective Services, who began simultaneous investigations.
