Water Awareness Calendars Available for the New Year
Residents can pick up free 2026 calendars at all public library branches and recreation centers.
The 2026 Water Awareness Calendars are in! Published annually by Virginia Beach Public Utilities, the calendars feature illustrations by Virginia Beach elementary school students showing what they do to use water wisely. The calendar includes the important information on backflow prevention; proper fat, oil, and grease disposal; water conservation; and what not to flush.Â
The calendar illustrations were chosen in a contest held earlier this year. Entries were judged by Public Utilities staff based upon best expression of theme, picture design, creativity and artistic skill.Â
The colorful calendars are free and available to the public at all Virginia Beach Public Library branches, recreation centers, and the Public Utilities business office located at 2403 Courthouse Drive.Â
