Home Rehabilitation

Contractors Specializing in Residential Construction

Virginia Beach Housing & Neighborhood Preservation invites general contractors specializing in home rehabilitation to register for opportunities to submit proposals. Contractors must be licensed Class A or B contractors registered in Virginia. Only registered contractors are eligible to submit proposals on home rehabilitation projects administered by the department through our Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Program. Liens & Payoffs

Individuals who have participated in a housing assistance program may have a lien recorded against their property. If you desire to pay off a lien or have any questions concerning a lien for housing assistance, please call the Housing & Neighborhood Preservation's asset manager at (757) 385-5754. The asset manager will be able to determine the information you need for early payoff or other questions regarding a lien on your property.
